Basic temperament: Top-notch social skills! He is incredibly gentle, kind to everyone, and on the calm side. With people: Loves everyone—men, women, young and old. True to his Retriever nature, he has no issues with people at all. With dogs: Gets along well with all dogs regardless of size, loves to play with friends, and mixes in easily. Energy level: Since he is still young, there are occasional bursts of energy, but for a large breed his energy level is not high. Recommended home: Because he is still young, a home where someone is around much of the time rather than one that is empty for long stretches, and a family that can provide a variety of activities and play.
